WELCOME
to the Home Page of the Friars’ Briar Association
The Friars’
Briar Association aims to promote fine fellowship and good curling
on a national basis among clergy persons and their associates.
The Association holds an annual curling competition, known as
the Friars’ Briar Bonspiel. “The Friars” is
ordinarily held in Canada, in the same city as the site of a
Canadian or world curling championship. This allows for competitors
in the Friars’ Briar to both play the game of curling
and to support the game of curling.
Explore
our website if you are interested in knowing more about the
Friars’ Briar. The upper set of tabs give the shape of
the Friars' Briar association, national rules, and the
"chapters" in our history. The lower set of tabs provides registration
information for
the coming Friars’ Briar Bonspiel, as well as recording the results
of the bonspiel.
